Long, plump and glossy Bourbon pods. From the SAVA region (north-east Madagascar), harvested at maturity and sun-dried following the Malagasy process (scalding, steaming, sun-drying, 2-3 months in trunks). Grade A "gourmet": moisture 30-35%, vanillin 2-2.5%. Ideal for pastry, ice cream, creams.

Our Bourbon pods come directly from the SAVA region — world capital of vanilla — harvested by our partner cooperatives after 9 months of ripening on the vine.
The preparation process is strictly traditional: scalding, sweating, sun drying, then maturing in trunks for 2 to 3 months to develop natural vanillin.
